Relationship transparency, built with privacy in mind

CheaterExposer is a relationship transparency and digital safety platform designed to help people gain clarity and peace of mind about their relationships.

Our service helps users identify potential dating profiles and publicly available online information across platforms such as Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge.

We believe in transparency without compromising privacy. CheaterExposer is designed to operate within applicable legal and privacy requirements. We do not hack accounts, access private messages, or require unauthorized access to personal accounts.

Our mission is simple: Help people make informed decisions about their relationships while respecting privacy, security, and the law.

What we collect

Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo from Google.

Email before checkout: the email you enter to get a report.

Searches: the details you enter about the person you search for, such as name, approximate age, location, search radius and, if you add them, email, phone, notes and photos.

Photos: kept with the search they belong to and deleted with it. Photos on searches that are never unlocked are deleted after 7 days.

Payments: your plan, purchase history and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Technical: cookies that keep you signed in, remember a search you started before signing up and remember an invite link you followed.

Analytics: pages you visit and steps you complete, measured with PostHog cookies. Analytics never include what you enter about the person you search for, and sessions are not recorded.

How we use it

To run your searches, keep your account and searches available to you, process payments, credit invites, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We also use the email you enter before checkout to send you offers by email; every offer email has an unsubscribe link.

Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. To measure our ads, cheaterexposer.com shares page visits and events such as starting checkout and completing a purchase with TikTok and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through their pixels. For Meta, these events can also include a hashed (one-way encoded) copy of your own email address and account ID so Meta can match them to your Meta account. They never include what you enter about the person you search for. Some state laws treat this as sharing personal information.

You can opt out on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page (/do-not-sell). We also honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser.

Who processes it

Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), PlanetScale (database), PostHog (analytics), TikTok and Meta (ad measurement) and the data providers that run searches. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

The people you search for

Searches are private to your account. We never notify the person you search for.

If you believe a report includes information about you, you can ask us to review or suppress it through our support form at cheaterexposer.com/support.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and searches while your account is open. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information through our support form at cheaterexposer.com/support. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
