Who we are

CheaterExposer is operated by Motif Land Inc.. By creating an account, buying a plan or running a search, you agree to these terms.

Who can use CheaterExposer

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You can only search for adults.

Not a consumer reporting agency

CheaterExposer is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Results are not consumer reports.

You may not use CheaterExposer or its results to decide on anyone's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, education or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

Acceptable use

You may not use CheaterExposer to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or harm anyone, to locate someone who does not want to be found for an unlawful purpose, or to break any law.

You may not resell results, scrape the service or share your account. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Search results

Results come from public records and third-party data sources. They can be incomplete, out of date or about a different person with the same name. Check anything important before you act on it. Results do not show whether anyone is or was unfaithful.

Plans and billing

Plans are monthly subscriptions. Each plan includes a set number of searches each month. You pay the monthly price when you subscribe, and it renews every month at the same price until you cancel. Weekly amounts shown on the plans page are for comparison only.

Unused searches roll over while your plan is active.

You can change plans, pause billing for one month or cancel at any time in Account. A plan change takes effect at your next renewal. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Add-ons are one-time charges to the card on your plan and do not renew.

Refunds

Plans renew monthly until you cancel. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan and unused searches until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial months.

We refund a charge in full if you ask within 14 days and it was a duplicate or made in error, or a problem on our side kept your report from running and we couldn't fix it. Ask through our support form at cheaterexposer.com/support and choose Billing.

If you were charged for a renewal you didn't use, tell us within 7 days of the renewal date and we will refund it as long as you haven't unlocked a search since that renewal.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have by law.

Invites

When someone starts a plan from your invite link, you get 1 free search. Inviting yourself or using fake accounts does not earn searches, and we may remove searches earned that way.

Disclaimers and liability

CheaterExposer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change affects your plan, we will tell you before it takes effect.
